Ah, 2020! So many things to think about!

The big news is that the firs book in the Keyralithian Chronicles, The Crystal Pawn, is now published and available through Amazon in Kindle and paperback format. I'll add the URL here so you can check it out or yourself!

Finally ready to get down to business. The search for the agent is on! Wish me luck! Still not ready with the Wordpress site, just yet, but getting there.

I think I need to take a few days to get myself in hand. Really bad day today. Had to put Whither to sleep, and this is a horribly painful day for me. I'll get back to this when I have the ability to think straight. Rest easy, big man.

Cover art finally done for The Crystal Pawn! It should be interesting to see how it goes. I am in the process of finishing up the Wordpress site, but it isn't quite ready to roll just yet. Soon!

Final edit done on The Crystal Pawn. It looks like I am going to have to wait until after finals to begin my search for an agent. Too much going on here at the moment. Three more weeks!

I started submitting pieces to Royal Road in the last few weeks. I have a short, short story and the first chapter of a longer piece. It's a start.

Incidentally, the cover art for Demond is done, and it is stunning. The framed artwork is currently sitting on my dining room table waiting for a place on the wall to be prepared. We are beyond thrilled with the way it came out!

I wanted to include a link to my blog here as I do have one that has been mostly inactive for the last few years. It has, however, some interesting posts on it about the writing process and my trip to Rome to see the parts of Demond I had always envisioned, but never seen in person. Hi there. Tonight, I am adding some short stories and essays to my website so that you can see some samples of my writing. Short stories are not my favorite medium for writing, but I have been entering the NYC Midnight Short Story Contest for the past few years. One has made it past the first round, but missed the second. Another didn't make it past the first round. Even though I haven't made much progress with it (again, not my favorite genre), it has been a good learning experience. Being given topic, genre, and character to write within a week (or less) is tough. I'll keep refining this art. In the meantime, please enjoy them. They were fun to write.
