Introduction
Currently, I am continuing research at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL), New York, as a senior fellow scientist in the interface area of chemical biology, molecular biology, and chemo-genetics. Here I have been a postdoctoral fellow for a while. Prior to join at CSHL, I did research at The Ohio State University, Columbus-Ohio, as a postdoctoral fellow in the area of chemical biology and chemistry. At the OSU, I synthesized non canonical nucleobases, to construct bifacial peptide nucleic acids (bPNAs) to unravel potential interactions with T/U rich domain of DNA/RNA. I completed my Ph.D. from CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, Kolkata, India. My thesis title is "Understanding protein-protein and protein-peptide interactions and their potential therapeutic applications".Prior to joining as a doctoral fellow, I experienced at Huntsman Corporation (a MNC company), Baroda and the central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar.
