Debit Reminder is designed with a privacy-first approach:

- All your financial data, monthly debitable entries, amounts, payment notes, and reminder schedules are stored 100% locally on your device using secure local database storage.

- We do NOT operate external servers, cloud databases, or tracking services for storing your debit records.

- Your financial data never leaves your device.

2. Information Collection and Use

We do NOT collect, transmit, track, or harvest any personally identifiable information, financial records, device identifiers, or analytics data.

3. App Permissions & Usage

Debit Reminder requests minimal Android system permissions strictly necessary for its core reminder functions:

- Post Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used solely to post due date alerts and pinned notifications in your notification shade when your scheduled reminders trigger.

- Schedule Exact Alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM): Used solely to schedule high-precision local system alarms so reminders fire down to the exact date and time you specified.

- Boot Completed (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): Used solely to reschedule your active local alarms automatically if your device restarts.

4. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing

Debit Reminder does NOT share, sell, trade, or transfer any user data to third parties. The app does not integrate third-party advertising, tracking SDKs, or external analytics frameworks.

5. Children's Privacy

Our application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
