About me & my research vision
My research vision is to advance next-generation intelligent manufacturing by integrating experimental thermomechanics with high-fidelity numerical modelling and smart sensing frameworks to enable deeper process understanding and real-time, data-driven control. I seek to uncover fundamental mechanisms governing deformation, diffusion, and microstructure evolution in complex material systems, and to translate these insights into robust, energy-efficient manufacturing technologies. Through innovations in friction-based joining/processing, in-situ monitoring, digital twins, and adaptive machine architectures, my goal is to develop scalable and sustainable pathways for fabricating high-value components across aerospace, mobility, energy, and emerging electrification sectors.
