DEBAM BISWAS

I am a Postdoctoral fellow in the YMSC (Yau Mathematical Sciences Center) of Tsinghua University under the mentorship of Prof Dr Yitwah Cheung from April,2026. I completed my PhD  at the Department of Mathematics of University of Regensburg under the supervision of Prof Walter Gubler. I did my Bachelors in Chennai Mathematical Institute finishing in 2019, followed by a masters at the ALGANT (Regensburg-Bordeaux) finishing in 2021. I started my PhD at Regensburg in 2021. I was supported by the DFG  and an associated member of SFB Higher Invariants during my time at the University of Regensburg.

I am broadly interested in Diophantine geometry, Arakelov geometry and its applications to arithmetic geometry. Here is my detailed CV
