Biography:

Debabrata Bej is currently working as a full-time Ph.D. research scholar in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, India. He received his M.Tech. Degree in VLSI Design and Embedded systems from the Institute of Technical Education and Research, Siksha 'O' Anusandhan (Deemed to be University), Bhubaneswar, India, in 2017. Before that, he received his B.Tech. Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from St. Thomas' College of Engineering and Technology, Kolkata, the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (Formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology), India in 2012. After completing his B.Tech, he joined the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, in 2012 as Project Assistant. There, he has worked on two sponsored research projects at the Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering Laboratory, Civil Engineering Department, Funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, and IBM. After completing his M.Tech, he worked on Special Manpower Development Program – Chip to System Design Project as a Project Assistant at the National Institute of Technology Durgapur, sponsored by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. During his Ph.D., he is working on Cyber-Physical System, Data Communications and Networking, and Systems Science and Engineering. His current research interests are Automotive Cyber-Physical System (A-CPS), Electronic System Design, Embedded System, Monitoring Technology, and Alertness Detection System (ADS). He is an author of international journals, conferences, and book chapters and provides referee services for international journals and conferences. IP Australia has granted him one patent. He is a Graduate Student Member and Young Professional of the IEEE.
