Popular Research Interests

My Primary research interests lie in using Geochemical tools to answer questions relating to formation of our solar system and events affecting it thereafter. I am also interested in fundamental problems relating to Chemistry like the origin of heavy elements and their homogenization through the Universe. I can say that terrestrial igneous Rocks, mainly Carbonatites and Alkaline rocks also interest me. They are a great window into looking at deep mantle and shallow mantle reservoirs and also help us study high temperature isotope fractionation.  Any body also interested in one or more of the above are encouraged to get in touch and we can hunt together!!!!!!!!
