Privacy Policy (Updated July 2026)
Location Data. dEATour uses your location to calculate driving routes, find restaurants along your route, and provide directions. Route calculations happen on your device.
What We Store. When you submit a restaurant suggestion, an app improvement suggestion, or trip information through the app, that submission is sent to and stored on our servers (Google Firebase/Firestore) so we can review it. If you provide your email address (e.g. to save a favorite or join our list), it is stored securely and used only to contact you about dEATour.
What We Don't Do. We don't sell your data to advertisers. We don't require account creation to use core app features. We don't share your personal submissions with third parties.
Restaurant Information. Restaurant data (names, addresses, hours, ratings) is sourced from third-party services (including Google Places) and is publicly available information.
Your Choices. You can decline to submit suggestions, trip data, or an email address — these are optional. To request that any personal information you've submitted be deleted, contact us at deatour@icloud.com
