About Me
Hi, I’m Dakota! I’ve been dedicated to dog training since 2018, and over the years I’ve had the privilege of working with dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and backgrounds. My journey began with my own dogs, and together we’ve achieved first-place wins in disc dog sports and freestyle competitions—proof of both effective training and the strong bond I build with my dogs.
Beyond sport, I’ve trained many client dogs and successfully fully trained two service dogs, with a third currently in progress. My dogs also hold multiple titles, showcasing the reliability and versatility of my training methods. To continue growing in my field, I’ve shadowed under experienced trainers, gaining valuable insight into different techniques and approaches.
In addition to working with private clients, I volunteer at the Stanislaus County Animal Shelter, where I evaluate, train, and help prepare shelter dogs for their forever homes. This work has strengthened my skills in handling a wide variety of behavioral challenges and deepened my commitment to giving dogs the best chance at a happy life.
Whether it’s building a strong foundation in obedience, addressing problem behaviors, training for sports, or preparing service dogs, my goal is always the same: to create a relationship built on trust, understanding, and teamwork between you and your dog.
