How many members are you accepting?
Around 30-50 depending on interest.
Are members going to be gacha?
No. In-character, the participants are selected through raffle. Out-of-character player members will be selected via our application process.
How active do you expect members to be?
This group will be very you-get-what-you-put-in. You don't necessarily need to be active everyday as we are aware our player base is 23+. Events will be a week long and launch during the weekends, so playing a few times a week would be enough to participate.
What timezone will the server run on?
The server is run by two people in EU! However, timezone friendliness is dependant on the member base we get in the end, as much of the RPing will be between members. There won't be any mod-led live RP sessions.
When will the group end?
May 30, 2026
One month after the group officially begins.
Will there be appchecks?
No appchecks, we just ball! If there's any glaring issues we'll let people know upon acceptance. Feel free to ask us for clarifications in our preserver Q&A channel, or open a ticket for specific character questions.
Minimum or maximum character age?
All characters must be 25 years old or older. The tournament often ends up being a violent bloodbath, so a law was passed that participants must be above a certain age.
However, there is no maximum character age. We are operating on fantasy age rules!
How should I design my character?
Anime hair and eye colours are fine. Standard fantasy clothing, here’s a pinterest board.
How does combat work?
Combat will be made through our bot. Stats are not needed. Every character will be on equal ground in terms of winning and losing.
Every character has 3 HP. Each successful hit is -1HP. When a character hits 0 HP they die and respawn with full HP at a different location on the map. More information will be given in the main server.
Can my character permanently die? How does death work?
Death does not exist on Death Skull Island. Your character cannot permanently die of anything. If they die, their body vanishes and reappears somewhere else on the island in perfect health.
They still feel pain, however.
If my character dies, do they keep the scars?
No. Your body is reset to the point it was when your character stepped foot on the island. The only scars that are typically kept is from the last battle at the end of the tourney that your character survived because their body wasn’t ‘reset’ through death.
