Privacy Policy — Death Overs
Last updated: 2 October 2026
This policy explains what Death Overs does with information when you play it. Death Overs is a cricket management game for Android, published on Google Play under the package name com.deathovers.cricket.
The short version
Death Overs has no accounts and no sign-up. Your saved career stays on your own phone and is never sent to us. The only information that leaves your device is what Google's advertising system needs in order to show you ads.
Information we collect ourselves
None.
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or any other personal detail. There is nothing to register for and no profile to create. We operate no servers that receive information from the game, and we have no analytics software inside it, so we cannot see who plays, how often, or what happens in your matches.
Information stored on your device
Death Overs saves your career so you can come back to it: your club name and manager name, your squad, your finances, league standings, your honours, and any match you are part way through. This is written to your phone's own app storage.
It stays on your phone. It is not uploaded, backed up to us, or shared. If you uninstall the game, Android deletes it along with the app.
Advertising
Death Overs shows ads through Google AdMob, which is a Google service. Ads are how the game is paid for; it is otherwise free and has no in-app purchases.
To serve those ads, Google and its advertising partners may collect and process:
- your device's advertising ID (a resettable identifier Android provides for advertising)
- technical information about your device, such as model, operating system version and language
- your approximate location, derived from your IP address
- information about the ads you are shown and whether you interact with them
We do not receive this information. It goes to Google, not to us. We can see only anonymous, aggregated totals in our AdMob dashboard — how many ads were shown and what we earned — and nothing that identifies any individual player.
Google's handling of this data is governed by its own policies:
How Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Your choices about ads
Reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Android: Settings → Google → Ads (the exact path varies by phone). Deleting it stops personalised advertising on your device.
Consent. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game shows you Google's consent form the first time it runs, and asks what you agree to before personalised ads are used.
You never have to watch an ad. Death Overs can be played from start to finish without watching a single one. The optional videos that reward you with in-game money are always your choice.
Children
Death Overs is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information through this app, please contact us using the address below and we will look into it.
Permissions the app requests
Internet access — to request ads. The game itself plays fully offline.
Advertising ID — required by the Google Mobile Ads SDK, as described above.
Death Overs does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, files, precise location or call history.
Selling or sharing data
We do not sell your information, because we do not have any of it. We do not share information with third parties beyond the advertising described above.
Security
Because your save data never leaves your phone, it is protected by Android's own app sandboxing — other apps cannot read it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new "last updated" date. Significant changes will be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play.
