Alyza D. Lewin

Alyza D. Lewin is President of the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law. She is also a co-founder and partner in Lewin & Lewin, LLP where she has specialized in litigation, mediation and government relations.

Ms. Lewin has represented numerous high-profile clients including victims of religious discrimination. In 2014, Lewin orally argued Zivotofsky v. Kerry (the “Jerusalem Passport” case) before the U.S. Supreme Court. The case concerned the constitutionality of a law granting American citizens born in Jerusalem the right to have “Israel” listed as the place of birth on their U.S. passports. Ms. Lewin also successfully represented the Boim family in its landmark civil tort litigation in which an en banc US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit established the right of American victims of terror to obtain damages from American organizations that knowingly provide financial support for international terrorism.

Ms. Lewin is the Past President of the American Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists (“AAJLJ”). She served as AAJLJ President from 2012 – 2017. She has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Jewish Community Relations Council (“JCRC”) of Greater Washington and was on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia.

Prior to establishing Lewin & Lewin in May 2002, Ms. Lewin worked at Wilmer Cutler and Pickering (now WilmerHale) and at Miller Cassidy Larroca and Lewin. Ms. Lewin began her law career in Israel, where she was a law clerk to Deputy President of the Supreme Court Justice Menachem Elon. Ms. Lewin was trained as a mediator by the American Arbitration Association and the Center for Dispute Settlement. She is a graduate of Princeton University and New York University School of Law. Ms. Lewin is married and has four children.


Rabbi Dr. Mark Goldfeder, Esq.

Rabbi Dr. Mark Goldfeder, Esq. is Director of the National Jewish Advocacy Center. He has served as the founding Editor of the Cambridge University Press Series on Law and Judaism, a Trustee of the Center for Israel Education, and as an adviser to the Permanent Mission of Israel to the United Nations. Goldfeder has taught law around the country and around the world as Senior Lecturer at Emory University School of Law, Spruill Family Senior Fellow at the Center for the Study of Law and Religion, Director of the Restoring Religious Freedom Project, and as a visiting professor at Georgia State University School at Law, Florida Southern College, University of Padua (Italy), Scuola Galileana (Italy), IDC's Radzyner Law School (Israel) and Bar Ilan Law School (Israel). He holds two rabbinic ordinations (yoreh yoreh; Yeshiva University and Rivavot Ephraim) and two judicial ordinations (yadin yadin; Rav Gedaliah Dov Schwartz, Av Beth Din, Rabbinical Council of America and Chicago Rabbinical Council, and Rav David Schochet, President, Toronto Rabbinical Council).

Goldfeder's work focuses on law and religion, constitutional law, international law, Jewish law, family law, and low and technology, and he publishes widely in those areas, including both academically and in popular publications like CNN, The Wall Street Journal, The Hill, Forbes, and other major media outlets. He is also co-author of the five-volume treatise Religious Organizations and the Law (Westlaw).

Goldfeder handles anti-Semitism and BDS cases around the country, and lectures and writes widely on those topics. He serves as Special Counsel for International Affairs at the American Center far Law and Justice, and as outside counsel to multiple religious organizations across various faith groups. He received his J.D. from NYU School of Law, and his LLM and doctorate from Emory University.

Goldfeder has taught law classes and legal clinics, ran externship programs, and given CLE courses on anti- Semitism and BDS across the country and at the United Nations. Among other initiatives, some of which are classified, he has represented the President of the United States, advised the Permanent Mission of Israel to the United Nations; presented to the Ministry of Strategic Affairs in Jerusalem; worked with local, state, and federal legislators on measures to fight anti-Semitism; and defended students, professors, businesses, and nonprofits that were targeted for their support of the Jewish State. He has worked on cases at the International Criminal Court in the Hague, and has successfully represented clients including American and Israeli non- profits in federal litigation. Goldfeder has also developed strong working relationships with universities in Israel, including Bar Ilan, IDC, and Hebrew University, and continues to advise both Chabads of Georgia and Hillels of Georgia on Israel matters. In 2017, he received Opher Aviran Stand with Israel Award from Hillel, and in 2018, the Jon Barkan Israel Advocacy Award from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee in recognition of his work.

Tammi Rossman-Benjamin

Tammi Rossman-Benjamin is cofounder and director of AMCHA Initiative, an organization that documents, investigates, educates about and combats antisemitism at institutions of higher education in America. She was a faculty member in Hebrew and Jewish Studies at the University of California Santa Cruz for 20 years. Tammi has written articles and reports about academic anti-Zionism and antisemitism and lectured widely on the growing threat to the safety of Jewish students on US college campuses. She has presented her research in scholarly talks and at academic conferences at many universities. Her essays and research have been featured in several academic volumes on antisemitism, and she co-organized a two-week scholarly workshop entitled “Contemporary Antisemitism in Higher Education” at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC. Tammi's numerous articles and opinion pieces have been featured in dozens of outlets including Newsweek, The Hill, Inside Higher Ed, San Jose Mercury News, Sacramento Bee, and San Diego Union Tribune.

Sapir Taib

Sapir Taib was born and raised in Israel and grew up in Modiin. She graduated from Bar Ilan University with a B.A in Political and Social Science, which led her to pursue international opportunities in foreign relations. Sapir represented Israel on official government delegations to South Korea and Taiwan, she served as a program coordinator for Birthright, and as an active member of the Israel Youth Exchange Authority. Most recently, Sapir worked as a corporate event manager for Funzing; an Israeli startup that creates a marketplace for unique experiences hosted by individuals.

Sapir arrived in San Francisco, CA three years ago and immediately got involved with the Jewish community. She joined the board of the World Zionist Organization and currently oversees San Francisco Bay Area social media groups for local Jewish and Israel related events. As an Israeli with Tunisian and Libyan origins, Sapir has been volunteering with JIMENA since her arrival in the USA and she looks forward to contributing towards JIMENA’s mission by sharing her Sephardic and Mizrahi traditions and history with diverse audiences.

Joel Bond

Joel Bond is the Associate Director of Alums for Campus Fairness. Joel is known as a youthful, experienced, and community-focused visionary that has a passion for strengthening and advocating for Jewish communities. As a secular and Jewish nonprofit professional, Joel has worked for three organizations in the Southern California region in different capacities. As for his work in the political field, Joel operated a private consulting practice that included six clients over three election cycles at the federal, state, and municipal levels.


Professor Ron Kleinman

Professor Ron Kleinman has over 20 years experience in all phases of standards-based technical marketing, SOA solutions architecture and ISV partner coordination. He created and then taught an Object Oriented Analysis and Design course at De Anza College for over a decade. He has developed extensive SOA and Java scalability product collateral (whitepapers, presentations). Ron recruited vertical ISV partners for GTM offerings in three separate industries. He has been a keynote speaker at multiple partner conferences and selected industry events.
