DeAnna Armstrong Brathwaite is an evangelist, author, entrepreneur, and lifelong encourager whose ministry is rooted in hope, healing, identity, faith, and the transforming love of God. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Religious Education and Psychology from Liberty University and has devoted much of her life to serving others through ministry, mentoring, community involvement, and personal encouragement.
For more than forty years, DeAnna worked as a professional cosmetologist and entrepreneur. During that time, she discovered that the salon chair could become more than a place of beauty—it could also become a place of listening, compassion, encouragement, and ministry. The lessons she learned through those years—discipline, perseverance, service, relationship, and seeing the person beyond the outward appearance—continue to shape her calling and writing.
As an evangelist and woman of faith, DeAnna has a heart for helping people discover who they are in Christ and encouraging them to move beyond brokenness into healing, wholeness, purpose, and spiritual maturity. Her writing brings together personal testimony, biblical truth, theological reflection, and the lessons God has taught her through real-life experiences.
Her first book, Living in the Shadows of Brokenness: Finding Hope, Healing, and Identity in the Light of God’s Love, traces a journey from wounded identity toward healing and redemption in Christ. Her second book, All for His Glory: Living Redeemed, Walking by Faith, and Reflecting God’s Glory, continues that journey by exploring what comes after healing and what it means to live redeemed, walk by faith, remain surrendered to the Holy Spirit, and allow a transformed life to reflect the glory of God.
DeAnna lives on Maryland’s Eastern Shore with her husband. She is a devoted wife, mother of four adult children, and grandmother whose greatest desire is to leave a legacy of faith for her children, grandchildren, and future generations. Through her life, ministry, and writing, she seeks to point others beyond her story to the faithfulness of Jesus Christ.
To God be all the glory.
“He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives.”
