The Hugo or Dafi comics, came out of a fruitful collaboration between me and www.learning-and-doing.ch.
The site is run by a retired teacher who has dedicated his life to knowledge and passing it on to other people. The site is filled with an extraordinary collection of self written worksheets for teachers and students alike.

The main goal was to create funny characters that children could relate to, in order to optimise their learning ability. Worksheets dealing with various topics can be found, partially illustrated by me over the years on the named website.

The Hugo stories are specifically without speech bubbles or any spoken word. The actions depicted tell the story while the editor of the site writes the necessary material.
