------------------------------------------------------------
2) INFORMATION WE COLLECT
A) Contacts and Phone Data (only when you grant permission)
If you allow Contacts permission, the App can read your saved contacts to:
- show contact names and numbers in the dialer and call screens
- help you search contacts quickly
- allow fast calling and messaging actions from contacts
If you allow Call Log / Phone permissions (where supported), the App may access call-related details such as:
- recent calls list (call history) and basic call metadata (date/time/duration)
This helps provide call history, caller identification (from your saved contacts), and after-call convenience features (if available).
We do not record your calls and we do not listen to call audio.
B) Usage Data and Diagnostics
We may collect technical information to keep the App stable and improve performance, such as:
- device model and OS version
- app version, language, and region settings
- crash logs and performance metrics
- basic app interaction events (for example, which screens/features are used)
C) Advertising Identifiers (where ads are shown)
If the App displays ads, advertising partners may use device identifiers such as the Android Advertising ID (AAID) to:
- show and measure ads
- prevent fraud and improve ad performance
You can limit ad personalization using your device’s advertising settings.
D) Cookies and Similar Technologies (where applicable)
If the Service includes any web-based screens (for example, a help page inside the app), cookies or similar technologies may be used in those web components. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
------------------------------------------------------------
3) HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use information to:
- provide dialer and contacts features (contacts display, search, call actions)
- show call history and call-related convenience features (where permitted)
- improve performance, fix bugs, and prevent crashes
- keep the Service secure and prevent misuse
- provide support and respond to user requests
- show ads (if the App includes ads) and measure ad performance
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our policies
------------------------------------------------------------
4) APP PERMISSIONS AND WHY WE REQUEST THEM
Depending on your device, Android version, and which features you use, the App may request permissions such as:
- READ_CONTACTS / WRITE_CONTACTS (optional)
Used to show your saved contacts, display names, and help you quickly call or message. If WRITE_CONTACTS is used, it is only to allow you to save/edit contacts when you choose to do so.
- CALL_PHONE (optional)
Used to place phone calls from within the App.
- READ_CALL_LOG / WRITE_CALL_LOG (optional, where supported)
Used to show your call history and enable call log features (for example, recent calls list). If WRITE_CALL_LOG is used, it is only for features you trigger (such as clearing or managing call log entries, where allowed by Android).
- READ_PHONE_STATE (optional)
Used for phone/call state features such as detecting call status for after-call actions (for example, showing call duration and quick actions after a call). It is not used to record audio.
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS (optional)
Used to show notifications (for example, missed call reminders or important alerts if the App includes them).
- QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES (optional, only if the App includes launcher features)
The App includes a home/launcher experience with an app drawer and app search, this permission allows the App to list installed apps so you can browse, search, and open apps from the launcher.
- INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
Used for features that require connectivity such as loading ads (if enabled), analytics/crash reporting (if enabled), or opening online content. You can manage or revoke permissions anytime in your device settings. If you deny certain permissions, related features may not work.
------------------------------------------------------------
5) DEFAULT APP ROLES (PHONE / CALLER ID / LAUNCHER)
Some features may work best when you set the App as your default Phone app (Dialer) or default Launcher (Home app), depending on what features your version includes. Changing default roles is always your choice and can be changed back anytime in device settings.
------------------------------------------------------------
6) THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We may use third-party service providers to help operate, analyze, and improve the Service (for example, crash reporting, analytics, ads, or purchase/subscription handling). These providers may process device and usage data under their own privacy policies and contractual obligations.
Examples (only if used in your build):
- Analytics / Diagnostics: Google Firebase, Google Analytics, AppMetrica
- Advertising: Google AdMob or other ad networks
- Push notifications: OneSignal or similar services
- Billing (if subscriptions are offered): Google Play Billing or third-party subscription tools
If your App build does not use a provider listed above, you can remove that provider from your published policy.
------------------------------------------------------------
7) SHARING OF INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information only:
- with service providers who help us operate the Service (analytics, crash reporting, ads, support), under confidentiality obligations
- for legal, safety, and security reasons when required by law or to protect users, the public, or our rights
- with your consent or when you request a specific action that requires sharing
------------------------------------------------------------
8) DATA RETENTION
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy:
- diagnostics/crash data may be retained for a limited period to improve stability and prevent repeated issues
- if the App stores data locally (contacts display, recent items), it is typically stored on your device and follows your device/OS rules
