It was a delight to work with Shanelle, a Deaf expert and tourist guide who combines ASL and verbal languages. She made fantastic recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and sights on St. Thomas, St. John, and other islands. Our family had a wonderful vacation in St. John with Shanelle by the ferry boat from St.Thomas (only about 20 mins ride with a rental JEEP on it!) and will cherish the memories for a lifetime. We also had a great time together in St. Thomas at the Mexican restaurant, Rock City Tacos, Shanelle provided intriguing insights into the rich culture, history, and family of the USVI/BVI. She also uncovered many hidden gems. We even met her hearing mom who is a truly sweet person and can sign language as well. I highly recommend DeafVoyageVi and Shanelle to anyone, including Deaf, DeafBlind, Hard of Hearing, and Hearing people. We salute Shanelle and look forward to seeing her and USVI/BVI again!

I had the most incredible experience when I visited the US Virgin Islands in September 2023! This tours there were absolutely mind-blowing. I was completely taken aback by how amazing they were. Seriously, it was a jaw-dropping experience! If you happen to be deaf or hard of hearing and are planning a visit, let me assure you that this tour is an absolute must-do for you! I cannot recommend it enough. Trust me you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely impressed with this tour. We came from a cruise and weren’t sure what to book, especially since the weather wasn’t promising. We were able to see the popular beach spots, museum, and even shopping! We chose our own time frame so we weren’t rushed, and there was even had on-board entertainment for my little son, so he wasn’t bored. Very pleased with the polite and professional service!
