Privacy Policy for Deadweight: Trap Climber

This Privacy Policy explains how [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use the Deadweight: Trap Climber mobile application (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. What the App Does

Deadweight is a single-player climbing game. You climb a series of hand-authored chapters while avoiding traps. The App keeps your progress, best times and death counts so you can beat your own records.

The App is played entirely on your device. It does not require an internet connection to play, and there is no multiplayer, no chat, and no user-generated content.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

None. Deadweight has no accounts, no registration and no sign-in. We do not ask for, receive, or store your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, photos, contacts, location, or health data. The App has no technical means of reading them.

Game Progress

Your unlocked chapters, best times, fewest-death records, stars, chosen difficulty, sound and haptics preferences, ghost setting and reminder settings are stored locally on your device only. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else, and we cannot see them. Deleting the App deletes them permanently.

Purchase Information

Deadweight offers a single one-time purchase that unlocks chapters 3 through 30. Billing is handled entirely by the Apple App Store.

We never collect or store credit card numbers or any financial data. We receive only your entitlement status, meaning whether the unlock has been purchased, so the App can open the paid chapters and restore them on your other devices.

Our purchase provider generates a random, anonymous identifier on your device so that entitlement can be matched back to you. It is not your name, your email, or your Apple Account, and it is not linked to your identity.

Analytics and Diagnostics

None. The App contains no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK and no advertising SDK. We do not collect device identifiers, usage events, crash logs or diagnostics. The App does not display ads, does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), and does not present an App Tracking Transparency prompt because it does not track you.

Automatic device-identifier collection is explicitly disabled in the App's purchase integration.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information described above only to:

• Unlock the chapters you have paid for

• Restore your purchase on your other devices

• Send practice reminders, if you enable notifications

• Respond to support requests you send us

We never sell or rent your personal data. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not share anything with advertisers.

4. Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Apple App Store, for purchase billing and receipt validation

• RevenueCat, for purchase and entitlement management (https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy)

That is the complete list. Deadweight does not use Firebase, Google Analytics, any advertising network, any attribution provider, or any artificial intelligence service.

5. Notifications

If you allow notifications, the App schedules reminders locally on your device using iOS's own notification system. There is no push server and no push token. Nothing is transmitted, and no notification data ever leaves your device. We cannot see whether a reminder was delivered or opened.

You can turn reminders off at any time in the App under Settings, or in iOS Settings, without affecting anything else.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your game progress is stored on your device and is protected by iOS's own app sandbox and device encryption.

Purchase and entitlement data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS) only, and is held by RevenueCat and Apple under their respective terms. We hold no servers and no database of our own, so there is no account of yours for us to lose.

No system is 100% secure. While we implement strong protections, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Purchases

Chapters 1 and 2 are free and complete. Chapters 3 through 30 are unlocked by a single one-time purchase.

This is not a subscription. There is no recurring charge, no free trial that converts to a paid plan, and nothing to cancel. Once bought, the unlock is permanent and available on any device signed in to the same Apple Account, via Restore Purchase in the App.

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at https://reportaproblem.apple.com.

8. Data Deletion

Deleting the App from your device permanently erases all of your game progress, records and settings. There is no account to close, because none was ever created.

If you would like the anonymous purchase record associated with your device deleted, email us at Workplace0331@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". We process such requests within 30 days.

Deleting your data does not refund your purchase, and requesting deletion of the purchase record may prevent you from restoring the unlock later.

9. Children's Privacy

Deadweight is rated for general audiences and is safe for children to play. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13, and contains nothing that asks a player to type or reveal anything about themselves. There is no chat, no social feature, no advertising and no web browsing inside the App.

Because no personal information is collected from any user, no parental consent mechanism is required.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, including the EEA, UK, and California, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to its processing.

Because we hold no accounts and no personal information on any server, there is usually nothing for us to export or erase. Your data is already in your hands, on your device. For the anonymous purchase record, or for any question about these rights, email Workplace0331@gmail.com.

We do not sell personal information, and we have not done so in the past twelve months.

11. International Data Transfers

The limited purchase data described in Section 2 may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where Apple and RevenueCat operate. We rely on those providers' safeguards, which are designed to comply with applicable data-protection laws.

12. Disclaimer

Deadweight is an independent game made by one developer. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Apple Inc. beyond distribution through the App Store. The App does not provide medical, legal, financial or professional advice.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date above, and the current version will always be available at this address. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
