By downloading, installing, or using the Deadlock mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
Deadlock provides users with tools to:
Check if their email addresses have been compromised in known data breaches.
Analyze password strength and estimate brute-force crack times locally.
Generate high-entropy passwords.
Informational Purposes Only: The App provides information based on third-party databases (e.g., Have I Been Pwned). We do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of these databases.
No Absolute Security: Using Deadlock does not guarantee that your accounts are 100% secure. Password strength is an estimate based on entropy and does not account for social engineering or phishing.
Authorized Use: You agree to only scan email addresses that belong to you or for which you have explicit permission to scan.
Security Settings: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, including enabling the "Require FaceID/TouchID" feature within the App for enhanced local protection.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deadlock and its developer (Tolga Meriç) shall not be liable for:
Any data loss or security breaches on your third-party accounts.
Any damages resulting from the use or inability to use the App.
Errors or omissions in breach data provided by third-party APIs.
The App's design, code, logo ("Deadlock"), and brand identity are the exclusive property of the developer. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
Currently, Deadlock may offer features for free or via a one-time/subscription fee. All transactions are handled securely via the Apple App Store.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason whatsoever, including breach of these Terms. You may also delete all your local data at any time via the "Erase All Local Data" feature.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
