Support requests
If you use the Support form on this website, you provide an email address and a message. You may also provide your name, app version, and iPhone model. Google Forms processes the submission and stores the response in the developer’s Google account. The developer uses it to respond to your request and may retain the correspondence for follow-up support. You can request deletion through the Support form. Please do not submit Health data, survey answers, or other sensitive information. This website form is separate from the Deadline app.

Deadline is an iPhone app for tracking dates and viewing countdowns. This policy describes how the app handles information.
Information you enter
Deadline stores the deadlines you create, including titles, dates, notes, reminder choices, and display preferences, on your device. The optional “When will I die?” survey uses answers about birth date, sex, country, body measurements, smoking, alcohol, activity, sleep, stress, social connections, health conditions, family longevity, and safety habits to calculate an estimate on your device. If you save the estimate as a deadline, the answers used for it are stored with that deadline so you can revisit them. The app and its widgets use a shared local App Group store. Deadline does not create an account or sync this store to a developer server or iCloud.
Reminders and widgets
If you enable reminders, Deadline asks iOS for notification permission and schedules local notifications for your chosen deadlines. Their titles and dates may appear in notifications according to your device settings. Deadline’s widgets read your saved deadlines from the shared local store. You can turn notifications off in iPhone Settings and remove widgets at any time.
Sharing
Deadline does not automatically share your content. If you choose Share, the iOS share sheet can send a deadline title, countdown text, and an image of the deadline widget to the person or service you select. The recipient or service handles that information under its own privacy practices.
Data collection and tracking
The current app has no developer server, account system, advertisements, analytics SDK, or tracking. It does not transmit your deadlines, survey answers, or Health information to the developer. Information remains on your device unless you choose to share it or your device’s own backup or sharing settings handle it. Apple’s handling of App Store downloads, device backups, Health, notifications, and share services is governed by Apple’s policies and your device settings.
Retention and deletion
Your saved information remains on your device until you edit or delete a deadline or remove the app. Deleting a deadline removes it from the app’s local store and cancels its pending reminders. Removing the app removes its local app data under iOS’s normal deletion behavior. Copies in an iPhone backup or content you deliberately shared may remain under the relevant backup or recipient’s controls. Because the developer does not receive your app data, there is no developer-held account or server copy to delete or export.

This page is hosted by Google Sites. Google may process technical information about visits under its own privacy policy. Deadline’s developer has not added analytics or advertising to this site.
Changes and contact
If Deadline’s data practices change, this policy will be updated before the changed practices apply. The effective date above identifies this version. For privacy questions, contact the developer through the support link on Deadline’s App Store page.
