there are a large collection of different fandoms that coexist without our group and below you will find a little more information in regards to some of those most important fandoms, as well as a few other world building points.
the magicians: everything up until the end of season four is canon. quentin coldwater died, it’s now been over two years since then. season 5 isn’t canon.
the vampire chronicles: inspiration can be drawn from both the show and books. as of jan 2025, both the interview with the vampire & the vampire lestat in-world novels written by daniel molloy have been released, lestat's band (the vampire lestat) was formed in mid/late 2023 & rose to fast fame. as of december 2024, akasha’s attack has occurred and she has been destroyed. mekare took over as the new queen of the damned. due to the merge of inspiration between show and books, we encourage all applicants for characters related to this world to read over other character applications as well as recaps to explain any important extra bits to know. when it comes to the talamasca show, please see talamasca page for more.
shadowhunters: everything in the show/all three seasons is canon and has happened now. june 2025 saw the two year mark since the show concluded. inspiration is of course, always taken from multiple areas too (for example, book & show details can merge especially when it comes to individual character building).
good omens: everything up until the end of season two is canon. up to players what happened next with their characters. main divergence is, of course, lucifer had been locked in the pit this entire time and it was his knights of hell doing the bidding for him up until his more recent freedom.
stranger things: everything in the show is canon and happened but of course, time was shifted a few decades with season 1 happening sometime around 2008. things then wrapped up in line with the way things happened in the show/upside down destruction etc. it’s now been well over ten years since everything concluded in hawkins.
the originals: everything up until the end of season three is canon, including the first episode/two of season four where the mikaelson's escape. however, this is where we diverge, with now, in 2026, the mikaelson's having just woken and escaped to a safe house in new york city.
additional fandom related notes: tldr’s for main events from some media that we keep as canon for those not familiar with the fandoms!
on the note of good omens:
within season one, we countdown to the predicted apocalypse— an event brought about in the days after the antichrist’s 11th birthday. in short, season one deals with the forces of heaven and hell trying to aid this along, while the demon crowley and angel aziraphale in a roundabout way, attempt to prevent it. in the end, they are successful and adam, the antichrist, is saved and able to return to a normal, human life. heaven and hell are pretty mad at aziraphale and crowley though and attempt to kill them both. this isn’t successful as they, unknown to everyone, switched bodies and heaven and hell end up leaving them alone for the most part.
within season two, the archangel gabriel appears in aziraphale’s bookshop on earth, with no memories of who he is. while attempting to find out what happened to him, aziraphale ropes crowley into helping him keep gabriel safe from heaven & hell who are looking for him. in the end, it is discovered that heaven planned on wiping gabriel’s memories due to his defiance in starting a second apocalypse. he escapes last minute, hiding his true self and memories in a fly that was gifted to him by beelzebub. towards the end of the series, beelzebub and gabriel leave together, having been romantically entangled. the metatron then visits aziraphale and offers to make him an archangel and return to heaven, as well as suggesting he, with these powers, would have the ability to restore crowley to angelic status and work together. crowley rejects this offer and the pair have a significant falling out. aziraphale returns to heaven where metatron informs him he will be helping with the next big plan, the second coming.
on the note of shadowhunters:
with three long seasons there is a Lot that happens within so we won’t list everything here, but there are some important lore details to note aside for some dates found in the below timeline. one primary detail is to note that through the course of the majority of the show, the shadowhunters of the clave (the official group of shadowhunters charged with keeping the peace between mundanes and the downworld) are fighting to defeat valentine morgenstern, an outlaw shadowhunter who created his own group, the circle, in order to overthrow the clave and, eventually, make a new race of shadowhunters because he saw the clave as defective, and he wanted to destroy all demon kind. in order to do this, he planned to raise the angel raziel in order to be grant a wish. to do this, he had to collect the three mortal instruments: the cup, sword and mirror. throughout this, there are continued tensions between the clave and the downworld, things very much being on the verge of war, especially when valentine activates the soul sword and destroys a bunch of downworlders. however, before valentine is able to speak his wish to raziel, he is killed by his daughter, shadowhunter, clary. clary then uses the wish to bring jace back to life.
after this, clary’s true brother, jonathan, a shadowhunter that was injected with pure demon blood while in the womb, is brought back to life by a demon going by the name of lilith (yes, we’re going with this being a different lilith to the one we mention above as a supreme of hell). season three deals with clary and jonathan being linked to one another through what lilith did to bring him back– meaning it is impossible to kill one without killing the other. and so, the plot dives into trying to find a way to break that link, as well as eventually kill jonathan as he releases demons in an attempt to destroy idris, the capital for the clave in alicante. he is only defeated after almost destroying every clave institute across the world with the plan to destroy the world as a whole. the show ends with this saving of the world having all been successful, however the angels strip clary of her shadowhunter status and memories of her time as a shadowhunter as punishment for continuously breaking the rules and creating her own runes of power. in server, we now pick up about two years later with isabelle lightwood as the head of the new york institute and her brother, alec lightwood as inquisitor for the clave– with magnus, his husband, as the first high warlock of alicante.
extra notes:
since vampires, werewolves etc from different lore co-exist here. the way we treat it is simply that different types of each of these co-exist naturally. maybe different locations and such have different types etc much like in most folklore and myth etc across the world. but for a touch more of a note on vampires specifically:
akasha was indeed the origins of all vampires/the very starts of the myths of vampires in the way we now understand them. however, throughout history there have been other people/mostly witches etc, who have tried to recreate their own versions of this. the most prominent are the likes of esther mikaelson, a witch born in the 10th century who later came to use her magic to turn all of her children immortal and so beginning the mikaelson line of vampires. another group of druids alongside the trahern family began to explore what had been created with akasha, looking to balance the scales a little more with something leaning more into the nature sides to magic. in doing this, they created a line of born vampires. this was then somewhat bastardised by aabram de montague. through history and across the world and in different cultures, there have been many different branches from all of this, but essentially, all of them will have some kind of connection, even if distant, back to the original, akasha.
this of course means there are plenty of variances in vampires abilities, powers, etc. some are able to produce magic/be witches/wix etc, whereas some aren’t. some can walk in daylight, others can’t. some can hear thoughts, some can’t. every type has their own variance, but there are a lot of overlapping areas too.
