How long does the hair need to be?

About the size of a grain of rice or longer. Longer growth is better because I used hard wax

that does not stick to your actual skin. This wax causes less damage, irritation, and less

pain for the client.

Do I need to trim my hair before I come into the spa for my services?

No. Sometimes when you trim you trim to short and this allows the wax to not pull all hairs

out evenly. Let me assess the situation at your visit however no hair is too long.

Can I have sex after my service?

Yes! However, be cautious because if your skin is irritated intercourse will make it even

more irritated. It best to wait at least a day.

What should I do after my waxing service to prevent ingrown hairs?

Exfoliation is VERY important. I cannot stress this enough with new and existing clients.

You will NOT get a good service long term if you are not exfoliating regularly. Waxing thins

the hair and slows the growth over time. When hair becomes thinner and fine if exfoliation is

not present the hairs become trapped in the dead skin cell build up and then becomes

ingrown. I recommend all my clients to use ingrown hair prevention products. I sell some

and can also recommend some as well.

What do I do if I get ingrown hairs?

DO NOT PICK THEM. Let your professional look at them and get them out for you if

needed. Picking leads to scarring and discoloration if done incorrectly its important to not

damage the skin.

Do NOT trim hair doesn't matter how long it is I can still wax you. No, it won't be more

painful.

Make sure to arrive 5 mins early. I take clients every 15mins so being on time is imperative.

YOU MAY RISK LOSING YOUR DEPOSIT.

Always exfoliate after treatment. If you start to feel itchy in a week or two that means the

hairs are getting trapped under dead skin cells while growing back and you need to exfoliate

or use stronger ingrown hair products.

You have 3 days for a touch up. If you feel that you still have hair in a space or maybe have

concerns you can get a touch up within three days after your service.

What is brow lamination?

Also known as eyebrow perm. Procedure takes an unruly/curly brow or a thinning brow and

smoothes it out while also lifting it in a vertical direction. The end result is that your brows stay

lifted and smooth for up to 4 weeks making your brows appear fuller, lifted and can give clients

the illusion of major hair growth while hiding gaps or imperfections.

What client can benefit from it?

Anyone! It helps clients who suffer with gaps or unruly/curly brows. However, It ideal for all

clients.

What is aftercare for brow lamination?

28- 48 hours after treatment:

● Keep brows completely dry.

● Use Brow Gold Nourishing Growth Oil daily to keep the brows nourished and hydrated.

● Do not apply make-up or undertake further eye treatments.

● Avoid swimming, saunas, and working out. Any excess moisture can cause a slight curl or

frizz to the brow hair.

● Do not allow prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat.

● Do not apply Retin-A, AHA, or exfoliate around the brow area for 72 hours on either side of

the treatment.

● No self-tanning products should be used on the face for one week prior and 48 hours after

treatment.

Can I do lamination and tint in the same service?

Yes you can pair lamination and tint in the same service. Most clients prefer this.

What is brow tinting?

Brow tinting is semi dye that helps shape and define your brows. The pigment I use also tints the

skin that last up to one week. Brow tinting however last on the hairs up to 4 weeks.

What to do before and after tinting?

● Avoid using makeup and facial cleansers around the brow area.

● Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, the use of sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms, and

swimming pools.

● Avoid exfoliating and using anti-aging products around the brow area.

● Avoid using any self-tanning products on the face for around two-three days on either side of

the treatment.

● Avoid the temptation to over-touch the brow area after treatment. Touching with

hands/fingers can lead to oils entering opening pores and clogging them.
