Guide Lines
We are pleased to provide you with containers for your garbage pickup. Please follow these simple guidelines to help us provide safe and reliable service and to keep your costs down.
95-gallon containers (containers with wheels)
Containers need to be placed on the alleyway, designated side, designated street, or highway. If we need to drive on private property an additional fee will be added. If you choose to have us drive on your property, we will make every effort to be safe. However, unforeseen hazards or any damage done to personal property is the responsibility of the property owner not Dillon Disposal.
Containers need to be placed on the alley, street or road so that the lid will open facing our trucks. This will ensure that the container is completely emptied, and debris is not dropped and left on your property.
There should be at least 3 feet (36”) on each side of the container that is accessible for the automated grips to have adequate space.
An additional fee may be added if a driver must exit the automated truck to properly position a container, move debris or pick up extra garbage.
300-gallon containers (large round black)
The container lid needs to face toward the garbage truck. The container should be at least 3 feet from any other object and the front must be completely clear.
Trash outside of the container – When placing trash outside the container place the trash at least 3 feet from the container.
An additional fee may be added if a driver must exit the automated truck to properly position a container, move debris or pick up extra garbage.
Yard Waste
Grass needs to be bagged and placed in the container. Drivers will not exit the truck to pick up additional bags of grass and put them in the container. During the summer a second container may be requested for yard clippings at a reduced rate.
All branches need to be cut so that they will fit into the container. Bundled branches may be left at least 3 feet from the container and will be picked up for an additional fee.
Recycling
Dillon Disposal does not currently offer recycling services.
