My name is Tammy Matthews, and I am one of the D&D Driving School instructors. I teach both the classroom session of driver ed and the behind the wheel portion of driver ed for anyone wishing to obtain their driving license. I am currently in my eighth year of teaching driver education. I also have 25 years experience teaching Business Education. I want my students to understand that driving a car is a great responsibility and for every choice they make, there is a consequence. With all the happenings on today’s highways, my goal is for my students to become safe, responsible, and good defensive drivers.

From Brian:
My name is Brian Strawser, and I am an instructor with D&D Driving School. I teach the thirty-hour safe driving theory class as well as provide behind-the-wheel training for those seeking a driver’s license. I have been involved in driver education for the past four years and take my job very seriously. I see a lot of unsafe driving habits while on the road and want to make sure the students I train understand that getting behind the wheel of a car is a tremendous responsibility. I want them to be prepared for whatever they might face on the road.
Teaching is not new to me. I’ve been a social studies teacher at Juniata High School for 31 years now. For 28 of those years, I coached a variety of sports but mostly boys and girls soccer. My wife Kelli and I reside outside of Port Royal, and we have two adult children.
