Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile game application "LegendLord Idle" ("Service") provided by DCTGAMES ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you ("User" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Definitions

1. "User" refers to any individual who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service provided by the Company.

2. "Open Market Provider" refers to e-commerce providers such as Google Play Store and Apple App Store that offer the installation and payment functions for the Service.

3. "Paid Content" refers to virtual items, currency, and other paid services provided by the Company for a fee.

4. "Service Modification" means any change to the Service, including but not limited to content, events, rewards, balance adjustments, operational policies, and update schedules.

5.  "Operational Reduction" means the reduction of service operation, including suspension of updates, limitation of new content, reduction of events, partial feature disablement, or reduced customer support.

6.  "Service Termination" means the permanent discontinuation of all or part of the Service.

7.  "Paid Currency" means virtual currency or similar electronic value obtained through Paid Content.

3. Effectiveness and Changes to Terms

1. These Terms are effective upon your installation and use of the Application.

2. The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that they do not violate relevant laws. Significant changes will be notified to Users through the Application or a prominent notice 7 days prior to the effective date. For changes that are disadvantageous to Users, a 30-day notice period will be provided.

3. The Company may notify Users in advance of important matters that significantly affect the Service, including Service Modification, Operational Reduction, or Service Termination, through in-game notices or other appropriate means.

4. Age Restriction

1. This Service is rated 12+ (Teens). You must be at least 12 years of age to use this Service.

2. If you are between the ages of 12 and the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that your legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

5. Service Operation and Interruption

1. The Service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, in principle.

2. The Company may temporarily suspend the Service for system maintenance, server expansion, or force majeure events.

3.  The Company may modify all or part of the Service as necessary for operational or technical reasons. Such modifications may include changes to content, events, rewards, paid items, balance, and update schedules.

4.  The Company may suspend updates or reduce operational scope due to operational or technical reasons. In such cases, the Company will provide prior notice if such changes significantly affect Users.

5.  The Company may terminate the Service due to operational or technical reasons. In such cases, the Company will provide prior notice including the schedule of termination, suspension of payments, and handling of Paid Content and Paid Currency.

6. The Company is not liable for any damages arising from the use of free services, except as required by law.

6. Paid Content and Refunds

1. Users may purchase Paid Content through payment methods provided by Open Market Providers. 

2. The price of Paid Content is subject to the price displayed in the in-game store. Actual charges may vary due to exchange rates and fees. 

3. Paid Content may be subject to changes in utility, availability, or usage conditions due to Service Modification, update suspension, Operational Reduction, or content adjustments. 

4. Refunds (Withdrawal of Subscription):

   • Unused Paid Content purchased by the User may be refunded within 7 days of purchase, where applicable under relevant consumer protection laws. 

   • Refunds are restricted for:

     • Items used or applied immediately upon purchase.

     • Items where additional benefits have been used.

     • Bundled items where part of the bundle has been used.

     • Capsule/Probability-based items considered used upon opening. 

5. Refunds and payment cancellations are subject to the refund policies and procedures of the Open Market Provider (Google, Apple, etc.).

6. If a refund is approved by the Open Market Provider, the User’s right to use the refunded Paid Content shall immediately terminate.

7. The Company reserves the right to withdraw, deduct, or adjust any in-game currency, items, or benefits associated with the refunded Paid Content.

8. If such content has already been consumed or used, the Company may apply corresponding in-game adjustments, including but not limited to currency deduction, balance adjustment, account restriction, suspension, or termination.

9. Repeated or malicious refund requests, chargebacks, or other actions that interfere with the normal operation of the Service may result in account suspension or termination. 

7. User Obligations

Users agree NOT to engage in the following activities:

1. Providing false information during registration or inquiry.

2. Stealing others' information or using another person's account.

3. Impersonating Company employees or administrators.

4. Cheating/Hacking: Manipulating game data or acquiring items through abnormal methods (e.g., using hacks, macros, or unauthorized third-party software).

5. Exploiting bugs or glitches in the Service.

6. Harassing or threatening other users.

7. Using the Service for commercial purposes without prior consent.

8. Requesting repeated refunds or chargebacks after consuming or using Paid Content in a manner that disrupts the normal operation of the Service.

8. Service Restrictions

1. The Company may restrict the use of the Service (including Warning, Suspension, or Permanent Ban) if a User violates these Terms or interferes with the normal operation of the Service.

2. The Company may, without prior notice, suspend or restrict accounts in cases of refund abuse, chargeback misuse, use of refunded in-game assets, or other fraudulent activities.

3. Immediate Permanent Ban : The Company may immediately permanently ban accounts found engaging in serious violations such as use of illegal programs, hacking, large-scale abuse, or fraudulent payment activities. 

4. Users may file an objection to restrictions according to the procedures set by the Company.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

1. All content (code, images, sounds, text, etc.) within the Service is owned by the Company.

2. Users may not copy, distribute, or use the information obtained from the Service for commercial purposes without the Company's prior consent.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

1. The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.

2. The Company is exempted from liability if the Service cannot be provided due to force majeure, such as natural disasters.

3. The Company is not responsible for service usage obstacles caused by the User's fault.

4. The Company is not liable for any loss of expected profits from using the Service or damages resulting from data obtained through the Service.

5.  To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from Service Modification, Operational Reduction, or suspension of updates.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.

2. Any disputes arising between the Company and the User shall be submitted to the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea.

These Terms of Service are effective as of December 1, 2025.
