Simultaneous games at DCSV

The boards are arranged in a U-shape. The simultaneous player plays all boards with the white pieces.

He walks past the boards and makes a move on each board.

The opponents have as much thinking time per move as the simultaneous player needs to walk past the boards.

When the simultaneous player arrives at a board, the opponent must immediately make his/her move, after which the simultaneous player makes a counter-move and moves on to the next board.

The simultaneous player may retract his move on a board as long as he has not made a move on the next board.

When the playing time is over, unfinished games are arbitrated or played out quickly with a clock according to the rapid chess rules.
