The 2026 Conference of the Divisione Chimica dei Sistemi Biologici from Società Chimica Italiana will take place at the University of Palermo from September 16 to 18, 2026. We are excited to invite you to participate and share your scientific work with a vibrant community of researchers.

The event will span two half days and one full day, featuring plenary lectures by distinguished scientists who are leaders in their fields. Highlights of the program include the announcement of the Italfarmaco "Gastone De Santis" Award 2026 and the Guido Barone Medal 2026.

This year, we are also introducing two new awards to recognize exceptional talent:

• Best PhD Thesis Award (2026)

• Best Master's Thesis Award (2026)

The program will offer ample opportunities for oral presentations, giving attendees the chance to share and discuss their work. Scholarships will be available for young, non-tenured members under 35 who submit an abstract to the conference.

DCSB for the year 2026  will award 25 fellowships that cover the registration fee for SCI members under 35.
