2026 AGM

Please join us for our last PAC meeting of the school year and our AGM! This important meeting covers approval of next year’s budget and election of our PAC Executive and Committee Leads for the 2026-27 school year.  All parents and guardians of children attending DC are invited to attend and are entitled to vote at the meeting.

The meeting will be held in person in the library and virtually over Zoom, with a phone-in option.  Meeting details are circulated to our newsletter subscribers.  Sign up here or email the PAC with any questions.

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

We are accepting nominations for Executive & Committee roles until Monday, June 15th at 6:30 PM. Any parent or guardian is welcome to put their name forward for a position and you are welcome to share the role with another parent.  On the spot nominations will be accepted at the meeting as well.  (Please note that for ease we refer to "parent" in throughout, but it is intended to refer to guardians too!)

Our executive roles must be filled in order for our school to receive BC Gaming Grant funding (approx. $7,800 per year), which goes a long way toward providing all the extras for our school such as field trips, the annual pumpkin patch, hip hop lessons, arts performances, Grade 7 activities, and more.

Want to help out but don’t want to take on a set position?

Join our flex volunteer list! In order to make it easy for parents to help out when they can, we are setting up a new contact list of parents who are willing to be flexible volunteers. When the PAC needs extra volunteers, we will notify the list members by email and people can sign up for spots if they are able.

Every little bit helps! Examples include: handing out orders for fundraisers on delivery days, set up or take down for events, crafting/sign making for events.
