This website hosts my research projects. So far this includes two projects – one theoretical, another empirical – on law in the private rental housing market, and a third which studies queueing in the criminal justice system. I tend to focus my work on Canada. My work has been published in Journal of Urban Economics. You can find my work on SSRN.

My new work is much less technical. I am mainly interested in criminal and constitutional law now.

I built the SCC JR Database. I blog here on short ideas. I have a podcast on law & literature with Dan De Kok. I write (sometimes) helpful notes on law and/or economics. My Github page is here.
