GUIDELINES:
Further details regarding student library accounts and book replacements can be found in our Guidelines section.
STUDENT LIBRARY SESSIONS:
Please see this academic year's timetables below. The DCIS Libraries are open term time Monday-Friday 08:00-15:15.
BORROWING:
Our Primary students will need a Book Bag to borrow books. Our preferred choice are our own DCIS Book Bags, which can be purchased through Lims Uniform Shop.ui
We are proud that students come and enjoy our spaces, whether before school, during breaks and lunches, taught sessions, or after school.
Our mission is to promote reading for pleasure and for students to find books they can relate to and see themselves represented within.
We aim to build a diverse collection accessible to all of our community.
Our DCIS Libraries team consists of the following departments:
LOWER PRIMARY LIBRARY:
dcs.lowerprimarylibrary@dovercourt.edu.sg
Adrienne Hill, Sabine Kleer, Sheetal Pathak and Suzy Thompson
UPPER PRIMARY LIBRARY:
dcs.upperprimarylibrary@dovercourt.edu.sg
Marta Monforte Perez, Ami Pathak
SECONDARY LIBRARY:
dcs.secondarylibrary@dovercourt.edu.sg
James Barlien
The DCIS Libraries are always open to receiving donations. We love to give unwanted books a new home!
Please note that we can only accept books without severe yellow spotting, as this is a sign of early mould and does spread through books on the shelves.
If you have books to donate, please send them to the DCIS Libraries. We will either add them to our circulation, distribute them to class libraries, or donate them to charity.
Please check whether the books are age-appropriate before you donate.
THANK YOU!
