Community colleges are two-year public higher education institutions that offer accessible and affordable education, including associate degrees, vocational training, and certificates. They serve a variety of students, from those seeking to enter the workforce directly to those planning to transfer to a four-year university to complete a bachelor's degree. Community colleges often have more flexible admissions and schedules, with lower tuition costs compared to four-year institutions
