Interested in Starting a Chapter in DC?

To start a chapter there must be at least five (5) students, and one (1) advisor. Yearly membership fees are $20 ( $10 State, $10 National) for students and advisors. All DC HOSA Students must be a member of both the state and national organization. In addition, a chapter may elect to collect local chapter fees. 

DC Affiliation Process

1. Contact local school/college/university officials to obtain formal approval to start a HOSA chapter

2. Contact the DC HOSA-Future Health Professionals State Advisor and indicate your interest in affiliating your school/college and students with the state charter association and national organization. 

   • Include Advisor Name

   • Include Advisor School/University with address

   • Include Advisor cell-phone

   • Include type of chapter you are requesting to begin: Middle, Secondary, Post-Secondary

3. Recruit members.
