The Society is Governed by an Elected body called Executive Committee (EC). The EC is elected by the General Body in every alternate year for a term of two years
The Executive Committee is elected for two years term in every alternate years by the General Body. Elected EC members subsequently elects the office bearers of the society viz. President, General Secretary and Treasurer for a term of two years.
The current 12 member strong Executive Committee was formed in May 2024
President
As a dedicated advocate by profession, Abir brings a wealth of experience and a commitment to justice and advocacy to every endeavor undertaken. Over the past decade, Abir has been a proud and active member of DCDP, contributing meaningfully in various capacities. His involvement has spanned infrastructure development, where he has participated in planning and executing projects, collaborated with architects and planners, and overseen maintenance and upgrades. In fundraising, Abir has organized and led successful campaigns, engaged with donors and stakeholders, and developed creative strategies to attract funds. His passion for Bengali culture has driven their deep involvement in planning and executing cultural programs, collaborating with artists and performers, and promoting inclusivity and participation within the community. As one of the youngest President of DCDP, Abir is committed to preserving traditions while embracing innovation, fostering a sense of community, and working collaboratively with all members to bring about a new wave of cultural appreciation and engagement. His goal is to ensure that DCDP continues to thrive, advocating for the community’s needs, and building strong, lasting relationships to support its initiatives. Abir believes that DCDP can achieve great things, bringing a vibrant and inclusive future for the organisation.
General Secretary
An experienced Supply Chain professional turned Entrepreneur, Susovon has been a member of DCDP for more than a decade and now actively involved as a core member. His corporate journey of over a decade was about holding different roles in his domain with companies like TCI, Honda and SABIC before he dived into the world of entrepreneurship to chase his passion to build a successful logistics organisation from scratch.
Today, he runs multiple successful businesses out of which the major one being Logpro, that specializes in International and Domestic Logistics. His interest in the entertainment industry also intrigued him to own a production house for Bollywood movies.
An ardent film-buff, he loves to spend time socializing, traveling and exploring different cuisines.
Treasurer
A Finance professional with many affiliations and more than 35 years of experience with multinational organisations, Kingshuk has been associated with DCDP for the past ~20 years, including two stints on earlier Executive Committees. In addition to being a Fellow member in service, he is also a non-practicing partner of a Kolkata based reputed 75-year old firm of Chartered Accountants. Despite long working hours, he stretches to accommodate his pursuit of continuous learning and is a travel and golf enthusiast.
Cultural Secretary
Since 2006, Rudra has played a pivotal role in DCDP, from intricate organizational tasks to injecting his creativity into cultural events and infrastructure development. It's been a transformative journey, blending tradition with contemporary vibes. We've all witnessed his evolution, from a young volunteer to a key part in previous ECs. Notably, Rudra is the youngest Cultural Secretary in DCDP's history. Amidst the pandemic, he spearheaded the transition of Pujo festivities online, enabling participation from the safety of homes. Over the past four years, he's led a team of young experts in managing DCDP's social media, website, and streaming platforms. With a professional background as a Public Relations Consultant, he boasts over 15 years of experience in crafting effective media and communication strategies.
Member
An ex-hospitality professional turned Digital Marketer, Oindrila has a total work experience of 17 plus years. She now runs her own digital marketing set-up since April 2023. Oindrila finds joy in exploring new places and learning about new cultures. Theatre, photography, and reading are her other passions, offering her avenues for self-expression and learning. In all she does, Oindrila's love for art and storytelling shines through. Oindrila has been associated with the DCDP for since her college days and has been responsible for the creation of the E-Souvenir since 2022.

Pooja Chowdhury completed her master's degree from the Delhi School of Economics. She has been working with American Express for the past six years.
Pooja has been associated with DCDP for over 20 years. She has actively participated in and supported cultural programs and various events related to Puja. In 2020, she was part of the group that helped bring Pujo and cultural programs to members' homes using modern technology and social media.

Rituparno has been associated with DCDP for the last six years and has been an active member contributing to societyin various aspects. On the professional front he is an engineer from IIT Kharagpur and is associated with a global Consulting firm working in transformation programs. On the personal front he is an avid marathoner, a fitness enthusiast and can be spotted running on the roads of Gurgaon.

Abhimanyu is a man who wears many hats, from a career beginning in advertising leading to experiences as an award winning journalist he can now be found working as an assistant cinematographer on the sets of various ad films and longer format OTT shows. Owing to this variety in career experiences he is a jack of all trades and his speciality lies in navigating the gaps and the greys. Abhimanyu (Mridul) has been an active participant in the social and cultural endeavours of the society in various capacities. From the quizzes and plays to dhunuchi and dance dramas, he has been integrally involved in several cultural performances and has been a regular contributor in various sub-committees.

Shubhashish Banerjee DCDP member since 2006 has been actively participating in the DCDP activities since 2016 both as a volunteer and in the leadership role managing the infrastructure and security portfolios. Shubhashish played a pivotal role in organizing the Bangla Mela in the year 2018 bringing over 60 artisans from interiors of Bengal to showcase their artistic talent to the members and residents of Gurgaon. He also supported the flower carpet which was an EC initiative in 2018-19.
Shubhashish Banerjee as a volunteer was recognized and fecilitated by the then Executive Committee for his outstanding contribution towards the 25th year DCDP Durga Puja.
