About DCAL
Welcome to DCAL, the Data-Centric AI Research Group in the Dept. Artificial Intelligence at Jeju National University. Our lab is at the forefront of AI innovation, focusing on advancing intelligent systems through data-driven approaches. By integrating AI with data science, we aim to create cutting-edge solutions that address real-world challenges.
Our current research directions encompass both fundamental AI technologies and emerging applications in areas such as Physical AI (Embodied Intelligence, Robotics, and Human-AI Interaction), bridging perception, reasoning, and action through intelligent models.

우리 연구실은 다양한 도메인에 활용될 수 있는 LLM 기반 인공지능 모델을 연구합니다. CNN, RNN, Transformer 등 인공지능 기초 이론에 대한 심층적 이해를 바탕으로, 모델 경량화, 양자화, 미세조정 등 최신 생성형 AI 기술을 실질적으로 구현하는 데 주력하고 있습니다.
무엇보다, 데이터·모델·인프라의 자율적 통제와 기술 주권 확보를 지향하는 소버린AI(Sovereign AI) 패러다임을 핵심 연구 방향으로 삼아 국내외 AI 생태계의 전략적 가치 제고에 기여하고자 합니다🙂.
