About Me

I'm Daisy Batty and I am a second year Music Education (Musicology) student at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. I've loved music from a very young age starting on piano then moving to drums and guitar throughout my musical life. I am really fascinated in the realm of music therapy and teaching and was looking for a way to combine both which luckily I found through my education and musicology pathways. I've played in bands throughout school being a part of the NSW PS Millennium Marching Band and I now play with the Northern Beaches Symphonic Wind Ensemble. I currently teach piano and drums at Narrabeen Music School and have done so for nearly 3 years now. I always thought I would teach in High School but most of my students currently are primary school age and they are very fun to teach so who knows!!
