As Band Week approaches we would like to welcome you and your son/daughter. We are so excited to have you here and can't wait to make music together. Whether your son/daughter is a returning member or joining us for the first time, you are an important part of our band family.

Band Week is more than just learning music and marching—it’s a chance for your son/daughter to build friendships, develop leadership skills, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Over the next several days, they will grow as a musician, challenge themselves, and work together as a team to prepare for an amazing season. Band Week is from August 3rd to August 7th from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. During this week they will have Spirit Week.  Please see flyer below. 

What does your son/daughter need for Band Week? If they have an instrument they are welcome to bring it. IMPORTANT! They will need a hydro flask as it is hot out there and they will be thirsty. They can also bring a snack/lunch if they like, we do not feed them during Band Week. 

Attire would be relaxed summer wear, we ask to please follow the school dress code. Recommended to wear sunscreen. 

Females: NO spaghetti strap or crop top shirts, NO dixie shorts, NO mini skirts, maxi dress okay, NO sandals only closed toe shoes. Okay to wear a cap, sun hat or straw hat to cover from the sun. 

Males: NO saggy shorts or pants please wear a belt if loose. NO muscle shirts, wife beaters or crop tops, Okay to wear a cap, sun hat or straw hat to cover from the sun. 

Please note that on the last day of Band Week August 7th we will be having a potluck after the students' performance. It's a nice way for all students and parents to get to hang out and get to know each other, it's recommended to bring foldable chairs and/or picnic blankets as the performance and pot luck is outside. A sign up sheet for the potluck is posted below.
