This Privacy Policy explains how Cheese Quake ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the DB Meter mobile application ("App").
By using DB Meter, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
DB Meter is designed to work with minimal access to your device.
DB Meter requests access to your device's microphone solely to measure the surrounding sound level and provide decibel (dB) measurements.
Audio captured by the microphone is processed for the purpose of calculating sound-level measurements.
We do not record, store, upload, or share your conversations, voice recordings, or other audio content.
Microphone access is used only while the relevant functionality of the App is active.
DB Meter does not require you to create an account and does not intentionally collect personal information such as your name, address, phone number, or contacts.
We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
Information processed by the App is used only to:
measure ambient sound levels;
calculate and display decibel measurements;
provide the core functionality of DB Meter;
improve the reliability and functionality of the App, where applicable.
We do not use microphone data to identify, profile, or track individual users.
DB Meter may temporarily access audio data from the microphone in order to calculate sound-level measurements.
The App does not intentionally retain audio recordings after they are processed for measurement.
We do not upload microphone audio to our servers or transmit it to third parties.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or microphone audio with third parties.
If this changes in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
DB Meter is designed to process microphone input locally on your device.
Because we do not intentionally collect or store microphone recordings on our servers, there is no server-side audio database associated with the App.
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the App.
DB Meter does not intentionally transmit microphone audio or personal information to third-party services.
If third-party services are added to the App in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain what information is shared and for what purposes.
DB Meter does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Since the App does not require an account and does not intentionally collect personal information, we do not knowingly maintain profiles or databases of children.

You can control microphone access through your device's operating system settings.
If you do not grant microphone permission, some or all of the sound measurement functionality of DB Meter may not be available.
You may revoke microphone permission at any time through your device settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. Continued use of DB Meter after an update means that you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
