Bottled Water and Away Game Meals

The Daniel Boone Band Boosters is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports our band students through fundraisers; however, we still need the support of our families and guardians to cover our expenses to operate. We are always in need of donations of cases of bottled water that is served at games and competitions. If you can donate them, please drop them off in the Band Room. 

A big undertaking is providing a meal for students prior to leaving for an away game or competition. We need help to cover those meals. Please sign up to bring a food item, fix a meal, or donate money to cover the cost. 

Volunteer Opportunities

We are always in need of volunteers! Our band depends on many people to run the Boosters. We are fortunate to have many wonderful volunteers involved in our booster organization.  If you are a parent, guardian, grandparent, or relative of a band or color guard student and are interesting in volunteering, please contact one of the Booster Officers.

Volunteer Needs:

Check out the Band app for sign ups for these upcoming needs:

• Assist the directors with water/Gatorade needs during band camp and rehearsals (practices).

• Serve as lunch chaperones during a day during the two weeks of band camp.

• Assist the new students with being fitted for a band uniform.

• Provide alterations for uniforms (if you can sew, we need you!).

• Photograph seniors for the banners.

• Serve as the Coordinator for the Blazer Band Grill Concession Stand.

• Serve as one of 10 volunteers in the Blazer Band Grill Concession Stand during Home Games.

• Serve as a chaperone during Away Games and Competitions. 

• Serve meals before Away Games and Competitions to students and staff.

• Serve breakfast after the WJHL Friday Morning Kickoff broadcast.

• Pull the Blazer Band trailer to rehearsals, Away Games, and/or Competitions.

• Help take admission during Winter or Spring Band Concerts.

• Set up for the annual FFA Trunk or Treat event and hand out and/or donate candy.

• Walk with the band during the Christmas Parade and hand out and/or donate candy.

• Help set up, decorate, and serve during Christmas Party or Spring Band Banquet.
