About me
About me
I was born in a small town called Latacunga, in Ecuador, near the Cotopaxi volcano. I began my astronomical journey with an internship at JIVE, where I discovered my passion for interferometry and radio telescopes. I graduated from my Ph.D. in Astrophysics at Universidad de Valparaíso in 2025. I am determined to pursue a career as an observational astronomer, with research interests focused on the interstellar medium of galaxies in the local Universe. In addition, I am a strong advocate for gender, diversity, and equity in science. I love trekking, outdoors activities, music, writing and dance.
