If you want a rugged, protective accessory to keep your JBL Quantum TWS earbuds safe from drops and scratches while hiking or running, choose DAYJOY 2; if you need ultra-discreet, lightweight wireless earbuds designed for side sleeping and clear calls in noisy environments, choose CNBRO Invisible Tiny Earbuds.
• DAYJOY 2: Offers heavy-duty silicone protection with a carabiner clip for active use, but it is strictly an accessory case, not the audio device itself. Best for nurses or athletes who already own JBL Quantum TWS gear and need reliable storage on the go.
• CNBRO Invisible Tiny Earbuds: Delivers a barely-there fit with ENC noise cancellation and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, but offers limited playtime per charge compared to larger over-ear options. Best for healthcare workers needing discreet communication tools that won't hurt during long shifts or sleep.
The DAYJOY product line is designed specifically as a safeguard for existing hardware, not as a standalone audio solution. If you are a nurse who relies on the JBL Quantum TWS earbuds for hospital communication or entertainment during breaks, this case is your shield. This means when you toss your equipment into a scrubs pocket or a backpack during a chaotic shift change, the earbuds inside stay protected from damage.
What makes this particular model stand out for active professionals is the inclusion of a carabiner keychain. You can clip the case directly onto a handbag, belt loop, or backpack strap. This is crucial for anyone moving constantly through hospital corridors or working outdoors where losing small electronics is a real risk. The design includes a specific cutout at the bottom, allowing you to charge the headset without ever having to remove the protective sleeve. This saves time and reduces wear and tear on the charging ports, which is a practical feature for daily users who need their gear ready instantly.
However, you must understand exactly what you are buying. The package contains two protective cases and two keychains, but no earbuds are included. It is compatible only with the JBL Quantum TWS series. If you do not own those specific headphones, this item has zero utility for you. Furthermore, while the "Nature" pattern adds a touch of style, the primary function is purely utilitarian durability. If you are looking for a new pair of earbuds to listen to music or take calls, this is not the product. It is the perfect companion for someone who values their current investment and needs a way to carry it securely during outdoor sports, running, or hiking.

In stark contrast to the protective case, the CNBRO Invisible Tiny Earbuds are a complete audio system built for discretion and comfort. These earbuds are engineered for individuals who find standard earbuds too bulky or painful to wear for extended periods. Weighing only 2.2 grams each, they are so light that you essentially cannot feel them in your ears. This is a game-changer for nurses who might wear headphones for hours during long shifts or for anyone who needs to sleep on their side without pressure points. The soft silicone material reduces friction, effectively protecting sensitive ears from irritation that often comes with harder plastic buds.
The "invisible" aspect is more than just marketing; the front view remains inconspicuous, allowing you to remain mysterious and discreet in professional settings. Whether you are in a quiet library, a busy airport, or a crowded cafeteria, these earbuds blend in seamlessly. They also come equipped with Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) technology, which is vital for maintaining clarity during phone calls. Even in loud public places like buses or cafes, the upgraded microphone ensures your voice comes through clearly on the other end. This feature alone makes them a strong contender for best on ear headphones for nurses who need to communicate with doctors or family members without being distracted by background chaos.
Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth 5.4, ensuring a stable connection with both iPhone and Android devices. Smart touch controls allow you to manage volume, switch songs, hang up calls, and wake up voice assistants with simple taps. However, there is a trade-off regarding battery life. The single playtime lasts up to 4 hours, extending to 12 hours total with the charging case. While this is sufficient for many short tasks, it may require recharging sooner than larger models with bigger batteries. If you need headphones that disappear into your outfit and prioritize call clarity and sleep comfort over marathon listening sessions, these are the ideal choice.
• Best for physical protection → DAYJOY 2: If your priority is keeping your expensive electronics safe from drops, scratches, and loss, the silicone shell and carabiner offer superior defense.
• Best for all-day comfort → CNBRO: At 2.2g per earbud, these are lighter than almost anything else, making them the top pick for side sleeping and sensitive ears.
• Best for call clarity in noise → CNBRO: The built-in ENC technology actively reduces ambient noise, whereas the DAYJOY case does nothing to affect audio quality since it holds the device.
• Best for outdoor mobility → DAYJOY 2: The included carabiner lets you clip your gear to a bag or belt, freeing up your hands completely for active work or sports.
• Best for discreet communication → CNBRO: The invisible design ensures you look professional and unobtrusive, perfect for hospital floors or public transit.
• Best for charging convenience → DAYHOY 2: The bottom cutout allows charging without removing the cover, saving time and preventing port damage.
• Best for modern connectivity → CNBRO: Features Bluetooth 5.4 for faster pairing and better stability compared to older standards found in many accessories.
• Best value for existing owners → DAYJOY 2: A cost-effective way to extend the lifespan of your current JBL Quantum TWS earbuds.
• Best value for new buyers → CNBRO: Provides a full set of wireless earbuds with advanced features right out of the box.
For a nurse specifically, I would recommend the CNBRO Invisible Tiny Earbuds as the primary tool. The ability to sleep on your side without pain and the ENC technology to hear patients clearly in a noisy ward outweighs the need for a separate carrying case. While the DAYJOY 2 is excellent for protecting a specific pair of JBL earbuds, it doesn't solve the core problem of finding comfortable, functional audio gear for medical professionals. The CNBRO's tiny footprint and focus on call clarity make it the superior choice for "noise canceling open ear earbuds for nurses" in a practical, daily sense. If you already have the JBL Quantum TWS and just need a way to carry them, then the DAYJOY 2 is the necessary add-on, but the CNBRO stands alone as a complete solution.
Yes, the CNBRO Invisible Tiny Earbuds weigh only 2.2g each and use soft silicone to minimize pressure, making them ideal for side sleeping without discomfort. The DAYJOY 2 is a hard case and cannot be worn.
Yes, they utilize Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) technology to reduce background noise during calls, which is helpful in busy environments like hospitals or public transport.
Absolutely. The DAYJOY 2 case features a specific cutout at the bottom that allows you to charge the headset without removing the protective silicone cover.
Neither is an "open ear" headphone in the traditional sense; however, the CNBRO earbuds provide HD sound and ENC for clear audio, while the DAYJOY 2 is purely a protective shell for existing JBL earbuds.
