Welcome to Dayflect (“we,” “our,” or “us”). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Dayflect mobile application (the “App”).

1. Information We Collect

Dayflect currently stores all user data locally on your device.
In future versions, we may integrate trusted third-party services such as Google Firebase (for analytics and crash reports) and Facebook SDK (for anonymized event analytics or login features).

Depending on your device settings and permissions, these services may collect limited data such as:

• Device type, OS version, and app version

• Crash logs and performance diagnostics

• Anonymous usage events (for app improvement)

2. Local Data and Backup

• All focus data, tasks, and time logs are stored locally on your device.

• You can manually back up and restore your data using local files on your device or SD card.

• We do not automatically sync or upload your personal data to any server.

• If you uninstall the app or delete backup files, we cannot recover your data.

3. How We Use Data

We use any collected information only to:

• Improve app stability and performance

• Diagnose crashes and bugs

• Understand anonymous usage trends

• Support optional sign-in or sharing features (if added in future)

We do not use analytics data for advertising or profiling.

Dayflect is designed for a general audience, including users under the age of 18.
We take the privacy of all users—especially minors—very seriously.

• No personal data collection: Dayflect does not knowingly collect, store, or share personal or identifying information from users under 18.

• Offline-first design: Core app functionality operates fully offline. All task and focus data remain stored on the user’s device, never on external servers.

• Limited analytics: If analytics tools like Firebase or Facebook SDK are activated in the future, they will collect only non-identifiable, aggregated data such as app usage statistics or crash reports.
  These analytics are used solely to improve app performance and reliability—not for targeted advertising or behavioral tracking.

• Parental involvement: Parents or guardians are encouraged to supervise usage and help manage local backups stored on the device.

• Data requests: If you believe that a minor has provided information through optional analytics or SDK features, please contact us at dayflectapp@gmail.com. We will review and delete any such data as required by law.

• Compliance: We adhere to the Google Play Families Policy, Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and international data protection laws (such as the GDPR) regarding minors’ data.

Dayflect will never use or share data for advertising or profiling users of any age.

6. Payments

Dayflect is a one-time purchase available on Google Play.
All transactions are handled by Google, and we never access your payment information.

7. Your Choices

You can control analytics and data sharing through:

• Device-level privacy or ad-tracking settings

• In-app privacy options (when implemented)

• Manual backup and restore of your local data

You may also request deletion of any analytics data we control by contacting us.

We implement reasonable security practices and rely on your device’s built-in encryption and protection.
We encourage using screen locks or biometrics to protect local files and backups.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when features or SDK integrations change.
We will notify users through in-app notice or Play Store listing updates.
The “Effective Date” above will always reflect the latest version.
