About Us

Who We Are

The Dawson County Democrats are grassroots organizers, activists, and liaisons in our community. Dating back to the days of FDR, Dawson County Democrats have always worked towards a progressive agenda for Eastern Montana! Better health care, a world class education, fair taxes, and jobs that allow a living wage. We are a registered political sub-committee of the Montana Democratic Party, but operate independently with a locally elected Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and State Committee Representatives. Local dues are $25 per year and entitle members to attend local events put on by the organization, including the summer picnic and Christmas party!

What We Do

We host events several events every year where you can meet candidates for national, statewide, and local office who need your support to win!

Republican, Democrat, Independent, or Undecided, everyone has a right to vote! That's why the Dawson County democrats host regular registration drives to make sure everyone can exercise that right.

Elections these days are all about turnout, and the best way to increase turnout is to ask people to go vote. Whether its by phone or in person, canvassing is an important way to help the party voice its opinion!
