My Life:

• Hey there, my name is Jen! I'm an adult (18+) and I live in England, United Kingdom. I'm currently a full-time college student, studying Education and Childcare: Assisting Teaching. Once I finish my course and get my qualification, I will officially be a qualified Teaching Assistant, working with primary school children! 

• I work part-time as a Support Worker in an assisted living establishment, working with adults with autism and other learning disabilities and physical disabilities. I received my Care Certificate, meaning that I am a qualified Support Worker and that I have received all the necessary training! My job can be stressful and there are times that I've struggled, but overall I love my job and it is so rewarding. I couldn't imagine myself in a different job!

• I plan on finishing my qualification in Education and Childcare: Assisting Teaching so that I have it if I ever do decide to go back into the education system and teaching, but at the moment my plan is to go full-time as a Support Worker!

• I'm in a relationship, and I've been with my partner since September 2023. We met in school, and have been inseparable ever since! Unfortunately their stuck with me and have to put up with me haha.

General Stuff:

• I am neurodivergent and have been diagnosed with combined ADHD. If you're curious about learning more about it, you can find out by clicking here! There are other websites out there that you can use to learn more about what ADHD is and the way it affects people, but please keep in mind that it is easy to find out misinformation about the disorder online, and that it affects different people in different ways. 

• I have a processing disorder which is a symptom of my ADHD. Sometimes I may need time to process information given to me, both verbally and visually, so I might take a moment to respond. Please be patient with me and allow me time to process and give you an answer. You're welcome to gently remind me if you think I might've forgotten or if it's been a while, but it could just be that I'm busy and haven't had a chance to respond to you!

My Routine:

• Monday - Usually in college, so not around much during the day. Sometimes I have work after college, so I won't be available in the evening either.

• Tuesday - Usually in college, so not around much during the day. Sometimes I have work after college, so I won't be available in the evening either.

• Wednesday - Usually in college, so not around much during the day. Sometimes I have work after college, so I won't be available in the evening either.

• Thursday - Usually in placement, so not around much during the day. Sometimes I have work after placement, so I won't be available in the evening either.

• Friday - Usually in placement, so not around much during the day. Sometimes I have work after placement, so I won't be available in the evening either.

• Saturday - Usually at work, so not around during the day. Sometimes I might be asked to stay longer, so I won't be available in the evening either.

• Sunday - Usually my day off, however sometimes I might pick up extra shifts so I could be gone all day.
