Dear Students,

It has rightly been said that if there were some heaven in this universe, it must look like a library. Library is one of the most beautiful and sought after places on the school campus. When we read a book, it not only refreshes our mind for some time but also gives us knowledge, moral values and enriches our vocabulary forever.

Reading helps us enrich intellectually, strengthen morally, succeed socially and even develop physically. When we read a book we detach ourselves from the myopic world around us and enter into a different new world created by the writer. Reading books means making interaction with enlightened and highly gifted brains of the world. In a way, we live in the company of elite people of the intellectual world while reading a book.

The importance of reading goes all the more important in the face of the lockdown situation of current time. It is natural to feel downbeat, lonely, stressed and anxious in this type of pandemic situation(COVID-19). I have reason to say that reading a good book helps us de-stress our mind to a great extent.

Since this is the time of home or online schooling, we are putting in unsparing efforts to make things available at home for our students as per our abilities, capacities and resources so that our students lag behind in no way. The creation of our school e-library is an initiative in this direction. Not only students but all the stakeholders of our institution i.e. students, teachers, parents, etc. can take advantage of this platform. We expect that as and when it is possible, parents and grandparents of our students will accompany their wards in reading books of their own interest so that our efforts fructify optimally.
