Dear DSHS Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at Davis Senior High School! The DSHS Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is excited to partner with parents, caregivers, teachers, staff, and administrators to help make this a successful year for every student and for our entire school community.

Our mission is to promote the well-being of all students and support a collaborative, inclusive, equitable, and welcoming school environment. Together, we work to enrich the educational experience at DSHS and provide meaningful support for students, teachers, and staff. The PTA is powered by dedicated volunteers, and we invite you to be part of that effort in whatever way works for you.

Join the PTA

Becoming a member is one of the easiest ways to support our school. Join by following this link Join the PTA  and paying the $15 annual membership fee.

As a PTA member, you'll be able to:

• Vote at PTA meetings

• Help shape how we support DSHS students and staff

• Stay informed about PTA programs and opportunities throughout the year

We also encourage grandparents, relatives, alumni, and community members to join the PTA and support DSHS.

Our first PTA meeting of the school year will be held on September 2nd at 7:00pm in the DSHS Library. We hope you'll join us to meet other families, connect with school leaders, and learn about the exciting plans for the year ahead.

Support the PTA

Every dollar raised by the DSHS PTA goes directly back into our school community. Our annual budget is funded entirely through donations from families and supporters.

A suggested donation of $200 per family helps us continue funding important programs and resources, but every contribution—large or small—makes a difference. Even a $20 donation from every family would have a meaningful impact.

Your generosity helps fund:

• Partners in Education (PIE) grants for teachers and student clubs

• Teacher and staff appreciation events

• PTA scholarships

• Friendship Day

• Support for students, teachers, and the counseling department

• Davis Parent University

• And many other programs that strengthen our school community

Last year, thanks to the generosity of DSHS families, the PTA provided more than $30,000 in funding to support programs benefiting over 1,800 students and 100 staff members. We are grateful for your support and look forward to building on that success this year.

Get Involved

Volunteering is a great way to meet other families, support our students and staff, and stay connected to the DSHS community.

There are many ways to volunteer with the PTA, whether you have an hour to spare or would like to take on a larger role. Throughout the year, we'll share volunteer opportunities by email, and we hope you'll consider getting involved.
