The Davis Democratic Club is an official Democratic Party organization in Yolo County. Quite simply, we "keep the lights turned on" during non-election years and have everything in place to hit the ground running during critical election years.

Former Davis Mayor Brett Lee will update activities and describe three charities: Raising money for medical equipment for the Uman City Hospital, Uman college student scholarship program, and animal shelters. And a very special guest, the mayor of Uman, Ukraine, who will say a few words through her interpreter.
Free to public and DDC members, the meeting is sponsored for DDC members.

The speaker will discuss problems and impacts of the 497-acre 1,800 housing unit development proposal for the northeast corner of Covell Blvd. and Pole Line Road. There will be time for questions after the presentation.

About 55 people attended the DDC barbeque on Oct. 26 the Souza residence. Richard Yamagata and Joseph Weisenberg manned the BBQ, cooking burgers, chicken and bockwurst. There were lots of side dishes, delicious cake and other desserts. The Davis College Democrats helped with setup and takedown. We raised $3,600.
