Davionna Phillips, hailing from Essex County, New Jersey, comes from a family of athletes, artists, and educators. Inspired by mentors, coaches, and friends, she pursued her passions in sports, performing arts, and social studies, blending them with her love for filmmaking to create a unique creative path.

As a former student-athlete at Pace University, Davionna earned a BS in Digital Cinema and Filmmaking and an MA in Communication and Digital Media, all while balancing her college basketball career. Her skills encompass cinematography, screenwriting, directing, video editing, and digital content creation. With support from her professors and classmates, she has developed a strong visual portfolio that showcases diverse stories and real-life experiences.

During her time at Pace, Davionna also worked in the university's Athletic Communications department, where she served as a live stream and camera operator for athletic events and co-produced, directed, and edited video content for Pace Athletics' social media and YouTube channels. Notably, she co-led creative projects, such as the Athlete Diversity Committee's Black History Month Celebrations, which highlighted underrepresented voices in sports.

As the founder of DaviFilmsMedia, Davionna provides film and photography services tailored to help creators, athletes, and families share their stories. Through her brand, she seeks to entertain, educate, and showcase unique perspectives, producing authentic and professional visuals that inspire conversation and connection. She is always on the lookout for new and genuine storytelling projects.
