I was a Limited-Term Assistant Professor at the University of Georgia and before that I was a teaching assistant while I was a graduate student at the University of California, Santa Barbara. My approach to teaching is to be collaborative and to promote open discussions with students and between students. I feel that is the best way to learn since I find that a more open and collaborative environments promotes more communication overall which allows for adjustments and self-corrections on learning the material by the students and for myself in adjusting the course around a class.
