ABOUT ME
I got my degree in Mathematics in the University of Alicante in 2019 and a Master's degree in Mathematics at the University of Seville in 2020. In September 2020 I was awarded the Spanish Ministry of Science's grant ''Ayudas para contratos predoctorales para la formación de doctores", and so I joined the University of Alicante as a predoctoral researcher, under the direction of Prof. Francisco J. Aragón Artacho.
I obtained my PhD in Mathematics by the University of Murcia with a dissertation titled "Splitting Algorithms for Structured Optimization: Theory and Applications", which I defended in June 2024. Subsequently, I held a one-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Center for Mathematical Modeling of the University of Chile. In September 2025, I joined the University of Alicante (Spain) as an Assistant Professor.
During my still short academic career, I have visited different international institutions such as the University of Vienna (Austria) in November 2021, and the University of O'Higgins (Chile) in November 2022. From December 2022 to August 2023 I carried out a PhD stay at the University of Waterloo (Canada).
