I am a Professor of Macroeconomics at Comillas Pontifical University – ICADE and Deputy Director of the Sustainable Finance Observatory.

I am currently a visiting researcher at the Central Reserve Bank of Peru.

I hold a Ph.D. in Applied Economics by the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

My research interests are in the fields of International Finance, Digital Currencies (cryptocurrencies and CBDCs), Payment Systems, Monetary Economics, and Applied Microeconomics.
