I am a PhD candidate in Economics at UNC–Chapel Hill, and I expect to join the Federal Trade Commission as an economist in 2026. 

My research is in microeconomic theory, with a focus on industrial organization.

My job market paper, “Trust, but Verify: Information Acquisition in Credence-Good Markets,” studies how consumers’ option to verify experts’ recommendations at a cost shapes incentives and market outcomes in credence-good settings—think auto repair, medical services, and legal advice.
